Bit by the Bug

As you may recall, I mentioned a "tummy bug" that Adalyn woke up with Sunday morning. Well, this "bug" has now made it's way to me, but not before "biting" Austyn, Ryan and Ashley. Thankfully, it is a pretty short-lived illness and Addie & Austyn are much better. Ryan was hit pretty hard and was up all night Monday, as were the rest of us who were upstairs as he was not very quiet in his suffering. I caught a nap Tuesday afternoon, just before Ashley came home from school miserable. I felt it coming on last night when I went to bed and fortunately I was only up twice in the night. I am able to eat again this morning, but still with some uneasiness in my tummy and a little chilled. Hopefully Alexia and Andrew will continue to be lucky enough to avoid this one.

I took Andrew and Austyn to get haircuts yesterday. Ryan has been trying to get Andrew to cut his hair for a while now and finally bribed him with a season pass to Lagoon. I guess that was the ticket. However, along with his haircut Andrew wanted to bleach his hair blonde. After getting the okay from Ryan, I picked up the stuff from the beauty supply store and went to work on that. We've managed to get it down to a strawberry blonde color and will probably try one more application this afternoon to get the effect he is looking for. I'll get a picture on here when we're done.

Well, I better get lunch going for Austyn so he can make it to school on time after his 2-day absence. Hopefully the ibuprofen will kick in for me soon so I can get some "work" done this afternoon.
