This is the rest of the view out my bedroom window. The mountain in the distance is on the other side of the Great Salt Lake. We have some pretty nice sunsets over the lake in the evenings and the nighttime lightening storms have been spectacular! We'll definitely enjoy it while we can. Who knows when those empty lots will be sold and new houses will block our awesome view.

Tomorrow is Andrew's 15th birthday. I don't think they will finish the trampoline hole in time for that, but they are definitely making progress! It was exactly 11 years ago that Ryan was digging our last trampoline hole all by himself. Luckily, this time the dirt isn't filled with a million large rocks!!
For Andrew's birthday tomorrow we are having a big "party/open house" at 5:00 for everyone who wants to come. The timing was just right for both, so we are going to barbecue and have everyone bring side dishes to share. I stocked up on soda and lemonade yesterday and I am going to make a couple cakes this afternoon.
Austyn starts football today. We signed Andrew up too, but they're not yet sure if they'll have enough boys to make a team for his age group, since a lot of the boys are already playing at the high school.
This upcoming week is going to be pretty busy with school registration, orthodontist and dentist appointments. We'll be going into Salt Lake almost every day!
I'm looking forward to school starting in 2 weeks and I think the kids are too. It's been a longer summer than we're used to, going from year-round to traditional school year, but we've done a few fun things in between moving and work.
I guess I better hurry and get Austyn to practice. Bye for now:)
