Ryan finished up his training and is now on his own. He was able to get a dedicated route, so he drives back and forth to Cheyenne, Wyoming, 3 times a week. We get to see him a couple of times during the week and then, ideally, will have him home for the weekend. The last couple of weeks haven't gone so smoothly, but he is getting more efficient and this route should actually work out really well . . . . . . at least until winter!
The kids are off track for the next two weeks, so I'm glad the weather is nice enough and they can spend lots of time outside. Hopefully they will also do a little extra work around the house. I hate to just let them go play when they haven't done any chores, but then sometimes it is just easier to let them go to give me some time to work.
I had a fun weekend away with Ryan's mom, his sister Emily and sister-in-law Becky. We went up to a condo in Eden and spent 2 nights there. We played games and watched a couple of movies. Saturday afternoon we drove down into Ogden and went out to eat at a Japanese restaurant. I tried sushi for the first time, 2 different types, definitely not something I would order on my own. I was quite satisfied with my tempura . . . . deep fried veggies . . . YUM! After dinner we went to a play at the Terrace Plaza Playhouse and had JennyLyn join us for the second half of the play. Good times!
I thought I would give my blog more of a spring feel, thus the new look. Ashley has redone her blog look as well, so you might want to check it out.
So now it's back to work, but I'll be back. ~*~Julie~*~

I LOVE the pic of Adalyn! I only could open the first one. I am glad to hear Ryan has a regular route not too far from home. And I also love the new look of your blog. It is adorable. xo - Kelsi
