Well, we've finally decided to put our house on the market. We've always wanted more space and for years we've considered just building onto our house because we loved our neighborhood so much. Unfortunately, one family after another has gradually moved away and the neighborhood just isn't what it used to be. Not that it isn't still a great neighborhood, quiet with good neighbors, close to the park, rec center and schools, we just don't love it like we used to. So, we've decided to move on.We were looking at staying in the Valley, but most of the bigger houses we have looked at so far have had hardly any yard. So, we followed the trend and looked to the west. In Tooele and Stansbury Park area we found several homes that meet our criteria for a bigger home with a good size yard, and the neighborhoods are all really nice. It would be a bit more of a commute for Ryan, but he only has to come into town 3 times a week so it wouldn't be too bad. We hate to leave our ward, as our ward is the BEST, but we just feel like it's time.
So, if you know anyone looking for a nice little house on the west side you can send them our way. We have pictures and more information here.

We are going to be so sad to see your family leave. Especially my boys, as they are all attached to at least one member of your family! I agree that the neighborhood isn't what it was a few years ago. We have talked about moving eventually too, but are worried because we probably couldn't sell for what we bought the the house at (especially since we bought before the "crash"). So it looks like we are here for a while. I hope everything works out for you and you can find something fabulous! I have a few friends that live in Stansbury and they love it. Plus we lived in Tooele for 7 years and we really liked it there too. We wish you luck and blessings! :)
Wow! I didn't see that coming. Good luck with everything!
